Here is what the site may save, what may be sent to service providers, and how you can control it.

Current calculator storage

The site does not require an account. If you press Save on this device, the calculator stores one decision locally in your browser using Web Storage. The saved record contains the electricity rate, location, two options, ownership period, and same-job confirmation. Saving it does not send it to a Quicksilver Industries LTD account or database.

Shared decision links

If you press Share, the calculator places the decision inputs in the URL. Anyone receiving that URL can read those inputs. Do not put names, account numbers, addresses, or other personal information in scenario names or the service-basis field.

Hosting and advertisements

The site is delivered through Firebase Hosting. Like other hosting providers, Firebase receives basic request information when it serves a page, including the requested page, IP address, browser headers, and access time. The public build loads the Google AdSense tag so Google can verify the site, show regional privacy messages, and serve ads once the account and site are approved. The site does not load Google Analytics.

Google's consent-management platform may supply regional privacy, consent, and opt-out controls. Whether ads appear or are personalized depends on your location, privacy choices, browser settings, and Google's ad-serving status.

Browser and consent choices

Browser settings can block or clear cookies and site storage. Global Privacy Control may communicate an opt-out preference to participating services. Where a Google regional privacy message is shown, use the choices and opt-out controls presented in that message.
